Payment Methods

This Payment Methods page applies to purchases made through matchy.bg, operated by Matchy LTD, registered in Bulgaria under company number 208750422, with registered address at Tvardishki Prohod 19, Sofia, Bulgaria.

1. Available Payment Methods

At Matchy, you can currently pay by:

  • cash on delivery;
  • debit card;
  • credit card.

The available payment methods will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.

2. Cash on Delivery

If you choose cash on delivery, you pay the order amount directly to the courier when receiving or collecting your parcel.

Cash on delivery may be available for eligible orders delivered through our courier partners, including Econt and Speedy.

If you refuse or fail to collect a cash-on-delivery parcel without a valid reason, the order may be cancelled.

If the same person repeatedly refuses or fails to collect cash-on-delivery parcels, we reserve the right to refuse future cash-on-delivery orders and require advance payment instead.

3. Debit and Credit Card Payments

We accept debit and credit card payments through third-party payment providers.

Card payments are processed securely by the payment provider. Matchy does not directly store full card numbers or full card security codes.

Your card may be charged when the order is placed or confirmed, depending on the checkout and payment provider settings.

If a card payment is declined, your order may not be processed.

4. Payment Security

We use third-party payment providers and Shopify checkout infrastructure to support secure payment processing.

You should not send full card details, card security codes, or other sensitive payment information to us by email, message, or any unsecured communication channel.

5. Currency and Prices

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.

The final amount payable, including product price, delivery fee, and any applicable charges, will be shown before you complete your order.

At the date of this page, Matchy LTD is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged separately unless this changes in the future.

6. Payment Confirmation

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation by email, SMS, or through the website checkout process.

For card payments, order processing may depend on successful payment authorization.

For cash-on-delivery orders, payment is completed when you pay the courier upon delivery or collection.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund and Return Policy.

For card payments, refunds will usually be made to the original payment method where possible.

For cash-on-delivery orders, we may request bank account details or another suitable method to process the refund.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider, payment provider, or selected refund method.

8. Failed, Suspicious, or Fraudulent Payments

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold an order if:

  • payment is not completed;
  • payment is declined;
  • payment appears suspicious or fraudulent;
  • billing or contact details cannot be verified;
  • we are legally required to do so.

If an order is cancelled after successful payment, we will refund the paid amount where required.
